In Steer Wrestling, Rowdy Parrott showcased exceptional skill, clocking the best time of 8.5. The duo of Wawa Ben Jr. and Cameron Lee Tsinigine shone in team roping, recording the day’s fastest time of 5.8. Saddle Bronc saw a tie for the top spot, with Damian Brennan and Brody Wells both earning a high score of 81.5. Ty Harris exhibited mastery in tie-down roping, securing today’s best time of 9.8. Barrel racing witnessed Shannon Griffin blazing to victory with the day’s best time of 17.1. The grand finale unfolded with Avery Rigyn Mullins earning an impressive score of 83.5 in bull riding.
As we move forward into the week, the excitement continues with SLACK (timed events) on Monday and Tuesday mornings, starting at 8 am, sans performance features. The Tucson Rodeo performances resume on Thursday following the Parade, with the rodeo action extending throughout the weekend, from Thursday, Feb. 22, to Sunday, Feb. 25.
