Garrett Jacobs Claims All-Around Title at 100th Tucson Rodeo

The 100th Tucson Rodeo was one for the history books, drawing sold-out crowds to every performance. Fans packed the stands to witness top rodeo athletes and elite stock bring their best to the Tucson arena. Among the standout competitors was Garrett Jacobs, who took home the coveted Lynn Beutler All-Around Cowboy Award with total earnings of $5,053 across Tie-Down Roping and Team Roping. His versatility and grit in multiple events secured his place among the rodeo’s top champions.

The Tucson Rodeo, also known as La Fiesta de los Vaqueros, is one of the most prestigious stops on the PRCA circuit. For a century, it has celebrated rodeo excellence, drawing elite cowboys and cowgirls from across the country. His earnings across both events put him ahead of the competition, securing the All-Around Cowboy title at this landmark edition of the Tucson Rodeo.

Rodeo Legends and Memorable Wins

Beyond Jacobs’ success, the 100th Tucson Rodeo featured incredible performances across all events. Roedy Farrell took the Bareback Riding finals with an 88-point ride, while Brody Wells dominated Saddle Bronc Riding, posting a massive 89.5-point ride in the finals and winning the aggregate with 175 points on two rides. Jordan Spears and Scott Wells tied for the highest Bull Riding score of the day at 88 points, with Spears taking the overall aggregate win. In the timed events, Kyle Lucas captured the Tie-Down Roping title with a 9.9-second finals run and a 29.7-second total on three runs.
