At 23 years old, Megan Kelly has been recognized as an International Professional Rodeo Association 2025 World Champion. After seven intense days of competition—including interviews, speeches, horseback riding, modeling, on-stage questions, and a written test—the Ramona, California, native brought the Miss Rodeo USA title back to the Golden State for the first time in nine years.

Her journey in the Western industry began at just six years old when she joined her local 4H and FFA chapters. Since then, she has dedicated her life to riding horses and serving her community. Her involvement in these organizations led her to compete for the title of Teen Miss Ramona 2015. Looking back, Kelly believes it was “the best thing [she] could have ever done” because it deepened her love for community service and mentorship.
Her passion for mentoring young rodeo queens grew after earning her first title as Miss Bulls Only Rodeo Queen 2020.
The Road to Miss Rodeo USA 2025
After placing second runner-up at Miss Rodeo USA 2023, Kelly initially believed she was done competing. However, a few months before the deadline, she had a revelation—she would regret not trying again. One morning, she woke up and told her mother, “We’re going back to Miss Rodeo USA!”
Mission: Mentorship
For her reign as Miss Rodeo USA 2025, Kelly will focus on her platform, “Mission: Mentorship.” Her goal is to inspire and guide the next generation of rodeo competitors. She credits those who mentored her for shaping the woman she is today and hopes to do the same for others.
Outside of rodeo, Kelly is a real estate agent who loves deep-sea fishing, riding dirt bikes, and going to the gym.
