Raised near Mandan, North Dakota, Claire grew up on her family’s grain and cattle ranch in Huff, working alongside her father to manage livestock and care for the land. Her passion for rodeo started early, competing in play days, junior high, and high school rodeo, where she became a two-time national qualifier in pole bending. She continued her rodeo career in college, barrel racing for the NDSU team and serving as team president her junior and senior years.
Beyond rodeo, Claire has a sharp business mind. After earning a journalism degree in 2023, she launched a career in digital marketing at Gold Buckle Tack, where she now helps manage daily operations. With a long-term goal of starting her own marketing firm, she also plans to take over her family’s ranch when the time comes.
As Miss Rodeo North Dakota 2025, Claire is ready to represent her home state and the sport she loves. She won the title at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame in Medora, taking top honors in Horsemanship, Appearance, Personality, and Speech, along with the Legacy of the Cowgirl Award. Throughout 2025, she will travel the country, promoting rodeo and Western heritage while preparing for her shot at the Miss Rodeo America title in December.
