Reflecting on his choice, Feild expressed that his decision was largely influenced by his experiences on the rodeo circuit, as well as a desire to prioritize family and the most important aspects of life. He remarked, “Making my decision about taking my family with me rodeoing and rodeoing the way I did, that thought, that decision came from the experience I’ve had going up and down the road and a big part of it was in 2016, missing some things and realizing what’s most important.”

Kaycee Feild, son of the renowned five-time PRCA World Champion Lewis Feild, carved his own remarkable path as a bareback rider. He boasts an impressive 13 qualifications for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR), clinching four consecutive Gold Buckles and NFR Average Titles from 2011 to 2014. In 2020 and 2021, he added two more World Titles to his illustrious career. With 29 Go-Round Wins at the NFR, Feild holds a record that few can rival. His career earnings have soared past $3 million, ranking him among the select group of eight ProRodeo cowboys to achieve this milestone.

Feild’s decision to step away from competitive rodeo was confirmed through an Instagram post. He expressed gratitude for the experiences and opportunities he encountered during his rodeo career and his excitement for new adventures. He acknowledged the support of the rodeo and western culture community, hinting that although it may mark the end of an era, it is the continuation of a legacy. Kaycee Feild’s future endeavors beyond the arena promise to be as captivating as his remarkable rodeo journey.
