Wrangler NFR 2023 Bull Riding | A Showdown of Seasoned Riders

The final event of the night and possibly one of the most exciting, the bull riding competition at the 2023 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is set to be fierce, much like the entire regular season. Heading into the finals are three first-time qualifiers (Hayes Weight, T Parker and Cullen Telfer) and 12 riders who have already experienced the excitement of Vegas and the NFR.

Ranging in age from 19 to 35, the bull riders getting a back number have qualified anywhere from one time to nine times. The number one guy, Stetson Wright, is headed to the Thomas & Mack Center with more than $368,000 in regular season earnings, and the number 15 cowboy, Cullen Telfer, punched his ticket with just over $128,000.

In 2022, Stetson Wright took home the world championship title, and he’s no doubt looking for a repeat and his third bull riding world championship. The top four in the standings headed into the 2023 NFR are the same riders who ended up top four after the NFR last year.

We will also see some Professional Bull Riders (PBR) crossovers competing at the NFR who just finished up their seasons in the Teams series, including Josh Frost, Creek Young, Trey Kimzey and Sage Kimzey. The complete standings headed into an action-packed 10 days in December are as follows.
