With 13 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) qualifications, six PRCA world championships and currently sitting second in the 2023 world standings as of March 1, 35-year-old Kaycee Feild is rocking right along for another successful season.

The bareback rider from Genola, Utah just finished second in the world in 2022 with earnings of more $316,000. His first NFR qualification was in 2008; and by taking home world championships in 2011-2014, he became the first man in PRCA history to win three consecutive world titles while also winning the NFR average. His sixth world title in 2021 set a record for most world championships in bareback riding, and he’s already surpassed $3 million in career earnings.

Six-time world champion Kaycee Feild matched the Fort Worth record he set last year in bareback riding with another score of 93 points on Monday. So far in the 2023 season, Kaycee has made some exceptional rides, including a 93-point ride at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo to win the second round on Pickett Pro Rodeo Co.’s Night Crawler. The talented cowboy came out with a second-place win at the FWSSR ProRodeo Tournament.

Kaycee comes from a rodeo family, as his father, Lewis Feild, is a five-time PRCA world champion and ProRodeo Hall of Fame inductee. He has been married to his wife, Stephanie, since 2012, and together they have two daughters and a son. In 2022, Ariat released a documentary titled ‘Unbroken’ that showcased Kaycee’s journey to becoming the best.

“I want kids to remember Kaycee Field. He rodeoed bucking horses with authority, and when he won the American, nobody else stood a chance.”
