Brody Wells Claims Saddle Bronc Title at the 100th Tucson Rodeo

Posted by

The 100th Tucson Rodeo was nothing short of spectacular. Fans packed the stands for every performance, creating an electric atmosphere for the competitors. One of the biggest highlights came in Saddle Bronc Riding, where Brody Wells put on a dominant performance to take home the championship buckle.

Wells shined in the finals, delivering an 89.5-point ride on Andrews Rodeo’s Wind Me Up. His ride secured first place in the round and gave him the highest combined score over two rides, making him the 2024 Tucson Rodeo Saddle Bronc Champion.

Tough Competition in the Bronc Riding Battle

The Saddle Bronc lineup was stacked with talent, including Statler and Rusty Wright, two of the biggest names in the sport. Statler kicked things off with an 86-point ride on Beutler & Son Rodeo’s Final Act to win the first round. But when it came time for the finals, both Wright brothers hit the dirt early, opening the door for Wells to claim the victory.

Riders like Allen Boore and Kolby Wanchuk put up solid scores, but Wells’ consistency over two rides made him the clear winner.
